The second effect of the washing machine is to reduce the usage of washing powder. We should use little washing powder owing to it causes not only the pollution of environment but also a variety of diseases. The lakes in my country are in eutrophication because of a great deal of phosphorus.

In addition, the composition of surfactant in washing powder will irritate our skin and harm our health.Another effect of the washing machine is that there is the smell of sunlight on the clothes. Having it, my clothes will still smell good even the weather is bad.

Compare and contrast living at home and in the dormitory(final)

I have lived outside for three years since I was a high school student. I know that both in the dormitory and at home have their advantages and disadvantages. While in the dormitory there are much more freedom and time, at home there is more privacy. When it comes to freedom, living in the dormitory is freer than living at home because you can come and go as you like without interference from parents. The decision, when to get back, and what to eat, is on your hand. Unlike living in the dormitory, living at home you can not participate night activities, such as singing at KTV, and dancing at night club. You can not eat pizzas for lunch and eat stinky tofu for dinner. Furthermore, living in the dormitory, you can have much more time, because you can save the time of traffic. You can use the time that you save to join some clubs to cultivate your interest. For instance, the ballroom dancing club, the soccer club, and the guitar club. While at home you will worry about whether you can catch the last bus, if you stayed at school late. Moreover, in the dormitory you can discuss your lessons with your classmates, but at home you can not do that. On the other hand, living at home is more private because you have your own room. You can do anything you want and without disturbing others. While in the dormitory, you have to take care of the others' feelings. For example, you can not turn on the music loudly when your roommates are sleeping. Finally, where you live in depending on what you want. Helping people is the way to be happy. At school there was a donating blood activity two days ago. I went to donate blood with my friends owing to I wanted to try it. While we were waiting, my friend told me that the needle head is bigger, and it is inserted to your body, you would feel a little painful. I was afraid of her words. But in fact, when the needle head was inserted to my hand, the nurse wanted me to breathe deep, a result, it was not painful. I did not know why I was happy after donating blood. Maybe in my mind I thought I had a good job. After this time, I love to donate blood.Donating blood not only promotes the circle of blood but also helps the people who want blood urgently. In the other hand, some day perhaps we also need others caring transportation. So, you all often donate blood!

Why many people like to buy brands?

Many people like to buy brand instead of cheapies because they feel the quality of things good, they love the sense of design of it, or they want to reward themselves.

First, the higher the price, the better the quality of the merchandise. Brand goods are more endurable. While the life of cheapies is short. For example, in the night market one of my friends had bought a bag, and it appeared a break during the three months.

Second, the things which are the sense of design stand the assay of time. For instance, at first you dress up in plain clothes, it is invisible, but you wear a brand bag, you will become different.

Finally, buying brand goods is another way to reward you. After working hard to enjoy the physical life can encourage you to do your best on work, and then you can buy them next time.

I think that to buy brands is not equal to vanity. Besides, everyone has the right to live a life you want as long as not disturb others. Even someone prefers saving the fee of meals to buy brands, it is also his freedom, isn’t he?
