#1 Compare and contrast living at home and in the dormitory
The differences between at home and in the dormitory are freedom and time. At home you have less freedom, your work and rest is normal, you cannot stay out late. You cannot but get healthy meals and eat less junk food. Your parents can tell you when to go to school, so you cannot but go to school. In contrast with at home, in the dormitory you are free to come and go as you like. You can participate night activities without interference from parents, such as singing at KTV, dancing at night club, and playing bowling ball. You can enjoy a variety of food, eating steak for lunch, eating stinky tofu for lunch. You are absent from the class, you can comfort yourself that it is ok only this time. At home you usually have to take buses to go to school, you cannot get up late. Getting back late, you have no bus to take, so you usually do not attend the extracurricular activities and have time to discuss the lessons with your classmates. Unlike at home, in the dormitory you can get up at 8:20 a.m. when the class starts at 8:30 a.m.. You have much time to join some clubs to expend your social contact, learn the technique of work, and relax pressure. For example, the institute of the department, the soccer club, the guitar club, and the ballroom dancing club. Studying with your roommates when you have any question you can ask her. Additionally, in the dormitory you can learn the consideration and continence, but at home did not: you have nothing to do while watching others is studying, you will feel embarrassed, and beginning to study as well. You must arrange your time well and use money adequately so as not to be a protractor and moonlight people. For instance, your homework do not finish on time and only have little money in the middle of month. You must turn down the music and speak small so as not to affect your roommate's sleep.

I think that your parents seem to be serious, so you feel that you have more free time to do something which you want to do when you living in the dormitory. You sad “You must arrange your time well and use money adequately so as not to be a protractor and moonlight people.” But if you living at home, you should do that too, shouldn't you?
